Michael Moore | USA | 2009 | Cast | Awards
Never one to shy away from controversy, Michael Moore returns to the issue he’s been examining throughout his career: the disastrous impact of corporate dominance on the everyday lives of Americans (and by default, the rest of the world). Moore takes us into the homes of ordinary people whose lives have been turned upside down by the global financial crisis; and he goes looking for explanations in Washington, DC and elsewhere. What he finds are the all-too-familiar symptoms of a love affair gone astray: lies, abuse, betrayal…and 14,000 jobs being lost every day. With both humour and outrage, this stunning domumentary explores a taboo question: What is the price that America pays for its love of capitalism?
Mae’r dadleuol Michael Moore yn ôl ac unwaith eto mae’n ymchwilio’r pwnc bu’n agos at ei galon trwy gydol ei yrfa: effaith drychinebus goruchafiaeth gorfforedig ar fywydau Americanwyr cyffredin. Ffilm ddogfen sy’n archwilio cwestiwn gwaharddedig: Pa bris mae America’n talu am ei chariad tuag at gyfalafiaeth?
